The Streets Alive campaign is a trial of changes to the streets Gore aimed at making the town safer and more accessible for everyone, regardless of how they choose to travel.

The council encouraged community feedback and involvement with the trials through workshops and surveys on all kinds of things such as creative street spaces, a pedestrian hub, road crossings, wayfinding, connecting spaces and things such as street art and a play trail.
